Soon after I became pregnant with my first child Mia, I was carrying an
extra 40 pounds. When I got pregnant with my son Steven a year later I was
craving fast food, especially fried chicken. My weight increased another 30
pounds so I was up to 180. I wasn't too worried since I had never had
problems in the past staying in shape. My husband and I went on vacation to
a beautiful resort in the Caribbean. I was embarrassed at how bad I looked
in a swimsuit and noticed my husband's wandering eyes. That's when I vowed
to lose all the weight I had gained during my pregnancies. When I got back I
started exercising and watching what I ate. But with two kids a husband and
work it was difficult to stay away from restaurants, fast food and sweets.
